Cricket

Cricket is a game played around the world, from Pakistan to New Zealand, England to Australia and India to the pitches of Zimbabwe. In many countries it is a sport that suprpasses even soccer as the favourite national game where ardent fans gather for one day and test match internationals. It attracts major sponsorship and is widely covered by television networks around the globe reflecting its worldwide popularity. From schoolchildren though to veterans its devotees will argue that it is a game without parallel as runs are gained, batsmen are bowled or caught out by bowlers and fielders and the overs and innings pass by eagerly watched crowds of spectators.

Croquet

Croquet is a traditional English sport associated with the lawns of the home counties and an image that is indelibly linked to white flannels, Pimms and the Edwardian era. That is not to say, however, that it doesn't have its vocal chamions around the world who use their mallets to knock balls through a series of hoops, each with a single wicket, in sequence whilst preventing their opponents from doing the same.
